The Process
Lampworking, also known as flamework or torchwork, is the use of a high temperature flame to melt glass to a molten state to make artistic and functional forms using tools and gravity.

My lampwork jewelry is made with "soft glass", melted using a propane torch and formed around a mandrel.

Once I am happy with a form it is annealed in a kiln to slowly bring the glass to room temperature to ensure the finished piece's strength and durability.
